config.lua (Static Settings)

These settings require a manual file edit and resource restart to apply. Everything else is handled in-game.

Debug

Config.Debug = false

Enable for verbose [pdd_search] [DEBUG] console output when troubleshooting. Always set false in production.

Locale

Config.Locale = "en"

Options: en, es, fr, de, it, ja, pt, ru, zh, ar

Admin Licenses

Players with a matching license can access the admin panel via /searchadmin. Add multiple entries for multiple admins. To find your license hash, run in the server console:

Admin Command

Config.Command = "searchadmin"

The chat command used to open the admin tablet. Registered as a client command on resource start.

Discord Webhook Logging

Config.UseDiscordLogs = false

When UseDiscordLogs is true, successful search events are forwarded to the provided webhook URL via pdd_bridge for persistent audit logging.

Runtime Config (In-Game Admin Panel)

All of the following are managed through the in-game admin panel at /searchadmin and saved automatically to data/searchdata.json:

Setting	Description
Target system	Interaction mode: `default`, `none`, `ox_lib`, `ox_target`, `qb-target`
Draw distance	Range at which the Text UI prompt appears (Text UI mode only)
Interact distance	How close a player must be to trigger the interaction
Player cooldown	Minutes before the same player can re-search the same prop model
Prop lock duration	Seconds a specific prop entity is locked server-wide after any search
Search duration	Length of the search progress animation in milliseconds
Default search radius	Default interaction radius — overridable per prop
Empty search chance	Flat % chance of finding nothing regardless of loot table
Dispatch alerts	Toggle illegal-item dispatch alerts on or off
Prop catalog	Add, edit, enable/disable, or delete global props
Loot tables	Per-prop weighted item pools with quantity ranges and illegal flags
Unique props	Coordinate-pinned prop overrides with independent loot tables

Target system changes require a resource restart. Use the Restart Resource button in the Danger Zone section of the admin panel — it saves your config and restarts automatically, reopening the UI on the Settings page.

Do not manually edit data/searchdata.json. It is overwritten by the admin panel. Manual edits will be lost on the next save.
